Long time lurker.
I've tried to search for this one but haven't come up with anything concrete.
I've noticed recently that when I shift into first I hear a 'squeaking' noise coming from the vicinity of the gear shifter, as if it is rubbing up against something.
The car has just had its 40k service with the local garage and they didn't pick anything up. I'm wondering if it is worth taking the car back for them to have a look or if this is one of those inevitable/normal noises for the citigo?
