Can anybody confirm the wiring for the headlight bulbs, is it the same as this?
Earth / ground on the left
standard / low beam on the top
High beam on the right
Thanks.

Just wondering if anyone has successfully paired a Windows 10 phone (work choice not mine!) with their Citigo PID? It's paired fine and calls are no problem, phone books works etc so that side is all good. On navigation though I've lost the live update, PID says it can't get an internet connection. Phone is set to share internet over bluetooth so should be good, was using the exact same phone running Windows 8 last week and that worked a treat. Guessing it's a Windows 10 thing and I'm stuck with it, have removed then paired again, restarted etc but no joy. If I use an Android phone that works perfectly for everything. Would be interested to hear if others have used live services with Win 10 phone successfully??
My 13 plate S went in for the clutch pedal click fix recently and I took my PID and put it into the 16 plate Greentech I was given as a courtesy car. Everything seemed to work well until I tried to use it as a Sat Nav. The voice instructions would not come through the car speakers, just from the PID itself, which made life rather difficult as, with general noise, it was virtually inaudible. Put it back in my car, everything normal. I didn't get or make any calls whilst in the Greentech so whether there would have been a problem there, I don't know.
Any ideas?
I've been thinking about VTing my citigo for a while now as I have just passed the 50% mark on my payments. And being offered my dads (not very exciting ) old car as hes quitting driving I though id go for it.
I phoned up VWFS on Friday and it was all done in a minute.
If anyone is thinking of this its really easy. They check you have paid to 50% mark and then ask you if you want to go ahead. Once I said yes, that was it. The local auction house will arrange collection of the car and that is it. If the collection runs into next month I will be billed, but refunded as ive arranged to VT the car before the payment date.
Also, they confirmed that mileage doesn't matter if you VT (in my case im well under my milage!) and as long as the car is drivable and there are no scratches or dents down to the bare metal they aren't bothered about the condition either.
The trend for many years now has been for small and medium sized cars to have a single reversing light and a single rear fog light, positioned appropriately for LHD and RHD applications.
I was therefore surprised to discover that the humble little Citigo has both reversing light bulbs AND fog light bulbs in both rear light clusters. I was then disappointed that only the O/S fog light is activated.
Unless I am mistaken, the rear fog light function can be swapped over to the N/S in VCDS but does anyone know if it is possible to enable both rear fog lights simultaneously via suitable encoding in VCDS?

My mum's Citigo's passenger side rear door is having problems lately. It won't open via the outside door handle. Inside door handle still works/opens the door but it's much stiffer than all the other inside handles. Any idea what the likely issue(s) might be?
Its 3-year new car warranty is up in about 3 weeks - is this something that would be covered under that warranty so I could just ask her to take it to the dealer for a proper look/fix rather than any potential bodge by me.
Thanks for looking/helping. Cheers.
Yesterday, after driving about 4 miles I stopped, pondered on where to park & restarted, put the drive into reverse & nothing happened. The gear indicator remained in neutral, tried 'd', again no change. Switched off & tried again & all was well. Any idea why, & should I be concerned? Thanks.
So, drove my Citigo in the dark for the first time recently, and the headlights are acceptable, but they're not comparable to the headlights on my parent's Yeti which is much better.
So I need recommendations for headlight bulbs that are an improvement over the standard ones!
Hello there,
Is there a guide anywhere for taking apart the plastics below the steering column?
Does the light switch come out easily so I can have a look through the hole?
Hi guys,
When i bought my 2015 Citigo i read the manual about the service intervals. To me it reads that the first service is at 2 years or x amount of miles which to be honest i thought was a long time to wait for the first service. However, the "INSP" indicator has just started coming on when i start the car. I haven't reached the stated mileage for the service, have i read the manual wrong or is there something else going on?
Thanks
Chris
i have just purchased a used seat pid from ebay

but the navigation maps file is missing
anyone know where i can find the map file
I've been mulling over the idea of ditching my Polo for something smaller for weeks now. I'm considering a Citigo or a Mii as eithet would pobably do the job. Pre-reg or ex-demo would probably be my best choice but as I'm trying to work out what model has what options I've been playing with the Skoda "new car configurator" Maybe it's me but it looks like the option of a sunroof has been deleted as it eithet cannot be selected or is missing altogether from the option choices. I'm sure this is a recent change as I was playing about with it last weekend and they were there.
I just wonder if t's a case of the Citigo being due a mid-life face-lift and stock simply being run down. Or sunroof uptake is so low the've deleted it.
Sods law, because I fancy one with a sunroof it's just they are like finding unicorn-droppings anyway.
Is it me or are the "summer" new car deals a little on the thin side at Skoda? I was hoping to drop on something if I couldn't find a suitable nearly new car.
One or two motoring sites/magazine have already run little snippets on the upcoming VW Up facelift. As the CitiGo & Mii are all built at the same plant I guess that means that they will also inherit the facelift within a few weeks or months of the Up hitting the streets.
Face-lift for the Up appears to be confined to some subtle exterior mods. Side repeater deleted from front wing and moved to door mirror and some smartened up rear light clusters. Interior changes are more obvious with the dashboard getting a fresher look, with the possibility of new options like MFSW. Likewise new wheel options to suit the fresher look.
I wonder what the chances are of picking up some good discounts on the outgoing model as the new model hits the showrooms?
Hello, folks.I've checked out all the manuals I could find on the internet, but I can't find out what does this button do. The one next to it should be for switching stop'n'go on the models that have that option, but what is that one with "Set" for?
