I'm expecting my Citigo in mid-November. My dealer has just let me know that they will no longer be selling Skodas at the end of the year. Anyone know if this is a general trend or I've just been a bit unlucky?
Dealer I'm buying from is stopping selling Skodas
Getting rid of my Citigo tomorrow, I think this was fitting
2 years, 40k miles and 0 problems. This car cost pennies to run and never put a step wrong, my only regret is not speccing cruise control!
At least it's going to a good home, I'm handing it off to my parents.

How easy would an engine swap be?
Non-mechanic question.
How easy would it be to get say a ford Eco-Boost 1.0 in a Citigo, without changing much else? How much else would need changed?
Not planning on doing it, but I just thought it's an interesting though if it was possible to get 130+bhp out of a Citigo, there'd be no problem fitting the tiny ford engine in the bay....!
Roof Rack
Hey guys.
Was just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a nice cheap citigo roof rack. I was looking at this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/151617178658?adgroupid=13585920426&hlpht=true&hlpv=2&rlsatarget=kwd-75951450666&adtype=pla&ff3=1&lpid=122&poi=&ul_noapp=true&limghlpsr=true&ff19=0&device=c&chn=ps&campaignid=207297426&crdt=0&ff12=67&ff11=ICEP3.0.0-L&ff14=122&viphx=1&ops=true&ff13=80
and then adding a bike carrier to it. Was thinking about using it for bikes mostly and maybe for a roadtrip keep the tent on the roof.
Thanks Guys

Warranty about to expire
We are just coming up to 30,000 miles on our Greentech SE Citigo, and were wondering if there were any common or obscure issues we should check or get checked and sorted before the warranty runs out.
We have had the some work done on the rear suspension, but other than that have enjoyed the miles.
Many thanks.

2013 Citigo SE gearbox woes - 1st & 2nd gearchange
I noticed recently that my Citigo's gear change had become problematic. Not long after it's been serviced too.
Anyway, the problem is selecting 1st and 2nd gear. It's extremely stiff to select and often selecting 1st makes a strange squeaking / high pitch rubbing noise (?). Also selecting 2nd seemed quite stiff. I also noticed on a few occasions a small oil patch on the drive underneath where I had parked it. I'm wondering whether it has a sealed gear box and oil has leaked (making selection stiff), or whether there is something else wrong.
I contacted two skoda dealers given the car is still under warranty. However, this was one of the most irritating things I had to do. Neither would take a look or show any interest and just said I need to ring skoda assist - as I explained to them numerous times over, the car hadn't broken down. It still drives , but there are problems with gear selection...
So, happy for any thoughts, or suggestions. Also like to hear if anyone else has experienced similar issues?
Thanks
Anyone selling a pid?
What can I get for £4500
My son is looking for his first car and has been taken by our Citigo. So the search is on to find him one for around £4500. Anyone know of any Citigo bargains around?
Citigo Strange Steering Feel
Anyway, I've now put a new set of steel wheels with Goodyear Ultra Grip 9 winter tyres on the car, and I'm astonished to find the steering magically lighter, linear in feel, and self-centreing properly. So, odd castor angle aside, the problem seems to have been the truly horrible Falken Sincera tyres that it came with. Interestingly, there is fine cracking in the continuous grooves of both the front tyres. I would never buy a cheap Far-Eastern tyre like this, but since the car came with them I've tolerated them so far, but when the regular wheels go back on in the spring, the Falkens will be getting binned for something of better (European) quality.
All that aside, plus an occasionally obstructive gearbox and the sheer inconvenience of the single window switches, the Citigo is great. I love its refinement, settled ride, good seats and (most unusual in a newish car) the good rear visibility. Servicing has been inexpensive and Robinsons have been really good too.

I need my brake disk and pads replacing but do I have to use OEM brakes or can I use others as my car is still under 3 years old?
Locking Wheel Bolt Socket
LED DRL problem
I fitted LED DRLs to my mothers Citigo earlier but the didn't work, they were recommended by a forum member here from HID direct. They're the correct bulbs (w21 5w Canbus SMD) When I replaced the original ones with these they blew the DRL fuse which confuses me as LED bulbs are meant to use less wattage than standard bulbs. There is no mention of needing addition resistors or anything else. Can anyone help? I PM'd the forum member but he hasn't been active on this site since early October so mightn't see the message.
Can you get new wheels on PCP?
Have had PCP on Citigo for nearly 2 years. Can I change the wheels? Don't see why the garage wouldn't permit it?
